This site is a combination of over 3 years of web presence and
experimentation, it has varied and diverse areas of interest.
This site is still an ongoing experiment in Guerilla Ontology using Digital Surrealisim
and HTML coding.
A disclaimer of sorts.
The Official OBIE Homepage is everything bad in web design all
presented together. It was designed to be that way, the excruciatingly long downloads,
weird page transitions, word drops... are made to pace to flow of information. It is not
recommended viewing, but if you have a few hours to kill and a large cache.
This site has no commercial potential, but does contain samples of styles, themes, page
transitions,DHTML, GIF animations, and ActiveX / JAVA scripting.
I've been asked why is this here?
what's the point?
It exists because it can.
It is like an open window on a multimedia
laboratory.
It attempts to visualize synapse response using a new medium.
The goal being data transfer and the transfer of the processed data into usable
information.
It's entertaining, FUN and fills my time.
